Some seven years ago I had Superpads fitted to my Buffet RC clarinet which I put to one side as a spare.  At the sameime, I bought a new Le Blanc Opus clarinet fitted with Superpads.  The Buffet  hasn't seen the light of day since then,  thanks to the performance of the pads on the Le Blanc, which show no sign of failing.
